Your initial oral examination includes a comprehensive examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes a full mouth series for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.

Avoid placing an aspirin between your tooth and gum to relieve pain, because the dissolving aspirin can actually harm your gum tissue.

I started my dental assisting career in 2003 after attending Athens Technical College where I became an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. I joined Savannah Dental Aesthetics in 2015 as the schedule coordinator and director of first impressions.What sets Savannah Dental Aesthetics apart is our unprecedented compassion for our patients. This team is absolutely amazing to work with, and I’m lucky to call them my second family. My passion for dentistry came from my own experience when I had the opportunity to improve my own smile! There is nothing more rewarding than helping others achieve a confident new smile they love.
Ashley has been a part of our team since 2012. She graduated from Savannah Technical College with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene. She is a mother of two and enjoys spending time with her family.
Whitney is originally from Cleveland, Tennessee. In 2009 she gradated Summa Cum Laude from Chattanooga State Community College, where she received the prestigios Dental Hygiene Hinman Scholar Award. That same year she moved to Savannah, Georgia and has been a dental hygienist at Savannah Dental Aesthetics ever since. She is passionate about providing exceptional individualized dental care to her patients. In her downtime you can often find her enjoying Savannah’s beautiful historic district or spending the day at Tybee beach with family and friends.
Mackenzi lives in Springfield with her husband and beagle named Nova. They are welcoming their first child in January 2018. They enjoy traveling, college football, and volunteering at their church.
Natalia is a Russian native who moved to the U.S. in 2009 after finishing her Master's in education. She is able to speak and write in three different languages. She lives in Savannah with her husband, two children and two dogs
